World GT Challenge Driver and Huntington Beach resident Brandon Davis made a rescent trip into K1 Speed in Irvine California to try out our indoor electric racing karts. His career has really been on a roll, as just last year he scored the 2009 World Challenge GT Championship title, by earning points in every race he competed in, driving the #10 Ford Mustang GT sponsored by Applied Computer Solutions.
Before moving into the Mustang, he drove for Real Time Racing from 2004-07 piloting their Acura TSX World Challenge Touring Car. In 2005 he captured the Rookie of the Year Honors, got his first pole position, and also drove to an impressive eight top ten finishes out of eleven events.
Brandon started his racing career with go-karts at the age of seven and still races shifter karts to this day to keep his skills sharp. He has recently started to make his way into driving stock cars, learning at Danny McKeever’s Fast Lane Racing School and with coaching from K1 partner Boris Said.
