K1 Speed Austin Challenge GP Results

K1 Speed Blog - go karts, karting and go-kart race events

K1 Speed Austin had a great turnout for their 1st GP Challenge ever. There were alot of regulars present trying to show how all that practice week after week has paid off. Among those regulars were Donald Munroe, #8 in the Top K1RS Overall points standings, and Hunter Hughes who was #9. They proved to be stiff competition in a field of great racers. Donald Munroe earned top honors besting a talent loaded main event and crossing the finish line first to take home the first trophy of the season. His best lap time was 26.533. Tony Davis earned top honors in the second final just beating out first time racer ever at a K1 Speed, Christain Romay. Christain put up a best single lap time of 26.809 in the second final. Look for the second GP Challenge of the season to be even better in August! Get practicing!!”
