K1 Speed Ontario Challenge GP 3 Results
K1 Speed Blog - go karts, karting and go-kart race events
The September Challenge GP started just after the sun went down in the Inland Empire, with 10 fierce competitors ready to start racing! Both qualifying rounds went very smooth, with KC Cook putting a lap record time of 47.302 to take the pole position for the Main. KC Cook would start the main off by ticking off fast lap after fast lap to pull a pretty sizeable gap between him and the rest of the field. He would be able to pull away by about 3 seconds until the last lap when Lawrence was able to get around Bryce Raygor for second and start to take some time off of KC’s gap. He was only able to make up a second or so but if the race had been just one more lap, we could have had a photo finish. As we head into the fourth round next month and the weather starts to cool off, we hope to see more of you out to compete against the best of the best here at K1 Speed Ontario.
