The Inland Empire’s hottest indoor kart racing center hosted another night of Enduro racing at K1 Speed in Ontario, California last Thursday for a number of drivers all looking to take the top podium spot. This new concept of Enduro racing has taken San Bernardino by storm as drivers competed in 85 laps of perpetual racing competition at this fun and challenging indoor karting facility. Pit stop strategy combined with racing strategy made for some great excitement as drivers found that the fast way around the track combined with fast kart changes in the pits were the key to coming out on top. This past week William Ball and Johnny Barton had a great battle back and forth for 1st and 2nd positions with 3rd place driver Matthew Craft just waiting to make the right move to overtake one or both of them. It would all come down to the final few laps – with William and Johnny still on the lead lap, William would get some distance on Johnny after the final pit stop, put him a lap down and go on to take the win. Matthew put up a great effort but would have to settle for a third place finish after falling a few laps off the lead pace towards the end.
The next Enduro at K1 Speed in Ontario won’t be until May 5th so drivers of all skill sets and experience levels have plenty of time to get ready for the best indoor kart racing Enduro action in the Inland Empire! See you on the track!
