K1 Speed RS Score Champion Battle – Scores Update

16 December 2010

The overall K1 Speed RS score champion will be determined by the end of this month. It has been a battle as the top 5 drivers all seem to have their own battles between each other for that top spot on the leader board. Currently, Emilio Garcia is sitting in the top spot with 13938 points, and he is followed closely by Jon Simms with 13263 points, who has been charging hard to grab as many points as possible and hopefully take back the number one spot he held onto during the summer. Jesse Silva with 8393 points has recently made the move into third over Orlando Rodrigues who has 7698 points, and Barry Wright is sitting in 5th with 6886 points.

K1 Speed has teamed up with Bergenholtz Racing to reward their top 3 RS Score racers with some awesome prizes!

The number one RS Score winner will receive a free trip to the Long Beach Grand Prix in 2011 and get to go for a full speed ride in The Bergenholtz Racing professional Formula Drift Racecar, and be an honarary pit crew member for three days with the Tilt Poker Mazda Nitto Drift Team.

YOU’RE INVITED! The top 50 K1 RS drivers are invited to a special VIP party January 2nd at our Irvine Facility. The unique Super Track creats the ultimate indoor kart racing experience. There will be food and drinks on hand courtesy of K1 Speed for our top 50 drivers.
