The Racer’s Group (TRG) No. 67 Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car, sponsored by K1 Speed, has a grueling race schedule ahead of it in the 2009 Grand-Am Rolex GT series. The team is hoping to have continued success throughout the season after its brilliant one-two finish at the 24 Hours of Daytona earlier this year. The next race of the season is the Bosch Engineering 250 at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), taking place on April 26th, 2009. In May, the K1 Speed-sponsored TRG Porsche will be competing at New Jersey Motorsports Park on the 3rd and at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California on the 17th. Everyone at K1 Speed wishes the team success and we look forward to seeing the car compete.

Beginning in the summer, the K1 Speed-sponsored No. 67 Porsche Cup car will head to two of the most famous tracks in America – Watkins Glen on June 6th for a 6-hour endurance race and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on June 20th. In July, the team will return to Daytona on the 2nd to defend its victory and will compete at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama from the 11th to the 19th. In August, the team will make another trip to Watkins Glen in upstate New York for a race on the 7th and will head to Montreal, Canada from there for a race at Circuit Gille-Villeneuve, named in honor of the late Formula One legend, on the 29th. The season finally begins to wrap up after a non-stop tour of the country with races at the new, highly-acclaimed Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah on September 20th and Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida on the 10th of October.

At K1 Speed, we wish the TRG No. 67 Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car continued success, and we look forward to watching them compete, and win, throughout the 2009 season of the Grand-Am Rolex GT series! Make sure to stay tuned to K1speed.com for updates and results of each race!
