K1 Speed in Carlsbad was visited this past weekend by Nick Esayian, team driver of the Realtime Racing Acura TSX that competes in the World Challenge GTS class. Nick just recently competed in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach where he placed second in class, finishing in front of Realtime Racing team mate Peter Cunningham, and positioning himself second in the overall points chase in the class. Nick’s racing abilities were shown on the fast paced track layout, as he posted very consistent mid 26 second lap times with the indoor electric racing karts, setting the pace for the rest of the field of drivers.
Nick with a smile went on to say “This place is great, I really enjoy getting to come here and work on driving techniques, braking and acceleration zones, not to mention the fun of getting to race other people in a professional and well controlled environment.”
Everyone at K1 would like to wish Nick and the rest of the Realtime Racing Team good luck this year with the rest of the season.
