We were pleased to have pro skateboarder and X-Games gold medalist Rune Glifberg visit our K1 Speed Carlsbad indoor karting center in San Diego this weekend! The Copenhagen-born skateboarder makes his home in nearby Encinitas and decided to celebrate the weekend by bringing his daughter in for some karting lessons. With his daughter following closely behind, Rune made his way around the track, illustrating where the proper racing line was and highlighting the benefit of smooth, precise steering and throttle inputs. Father and daughter had a great time on our indoor go kart track and Rune was able to give his daughter a taste of the action sports that he loves so much. It was a pleasure having Rune Glifberg and his daughter at our indoor kart racing center in San Diego and we look forward to seeing them again!
