The Best Indoor Kart Racing Competition Coming to K1 Speed, Phoenix

Get ready Southwestern residents – the best indoor kart racing competition is coming to K1 Speed in Phoenix, Arizona! Our Challenge GP series is looking to start off the 2011 race season on Sunday, March 13th! Our uniquely designed facility features over 1,200 feet of etched concrete racing surface for drivers to conquer, including a European-style 56 foot long tunnel and overhead mezzanine for spectator viewing. There is no other place like K1 Speed in Phoenix. To sweeten this deal, this race series will be running the course in the reverse configuration! Just when you thought you had the track figured out, we are creating an all new challenging experience for you racers.

Our racing format for the Challenge GP race series will include 2 rounds of qualifying and corresponding main event rounds giving drivers of all skill levels a chance at competing and winning. Cost per driver is just $50 with sign-ups beginning at 6:30 PM and racing at 7:00 PM. The top three drivers from each main event will be awarded trophies and all drivers will be scored based on their finishing position, so an overall champion can be determined in June.
