K1 Speed Irvine Challenge GP 4 2K13 – Season 1
Last night’s Irvine Challenge GP brought a huge crowd of thirsty racers bidding for a podium spot. We witnessed a lot of great driving with the reverse supertrack layout. It seemed to be challenging at first for the new racers but for the veterans it only took a couple laps in.
What a great night of racing with Adam Akers and Louis Pilloni taking the top two spots followed by Luca Bortone in third. Looking forward to the next GP in May.
K1 Speed Irvine Challenge GP 3 2K13 – Season 1
One of the cleanest Supertracks we have ever had even though there were 14 racers on the track. The quality of character and the level of competition were truly unmatched.
Very competitive all around GP3 race. Only by a small margin were most of the drivers in the B Group over the A group. So some great racing at hand. We even had a 1st time racer take 3rd in the group. We’re looking forward to next month’s GP!

Due to the high demand from junior racers, we are getting junior karts in Irvine in 3 weeks! Stay tuned for the exact date and be ready to bring in those soon to be race pros for some karting on our track.

SoCal Car Meet at K1 Speed Irvine
Come out K.R.O.P.S 1st meet of 2013 at K1 Speed Irvine. We had a great turnout at K1 Speed in Carlsbad, Ontario, and Irvine for our previous monthly meets.

Chill, relax, and meet some new people. This event is open to all makes and models of all cars: jdm, domestic, imports, euro, vip, hellaflush, trucks, motorcycles, skateboards, whatever. We don’t discriminate!
As ALWAYS, we ask that you respect the area by not bumping your music, revving, doing burnouts, racing, or any of that “ricer” stuff. Also, NO drinking or smoking weed in the parking lot as we have zero tolerance for that and will ask you to leave or call the cops if needed.

K1 Speed Irvine Challenge GP 2 2K13 – Season 1
Very fun race with the Russ McGrane leading the pack. Russ took the jump off the rolling start and pulled away from the rest of the pack. The real excitement was between Kevin and Michael fighting for that 2nd spot. Going around the teardrop on track 2, Kevin motored his way past Michael to claim that 2nd position. A lot of new faces to the 2013 GP Season.
The B Main got off to a rocky start with 2 drivers spinning out on lap 3 breaking each kart. Got new karts put in place and off we go! Nick, Randy, and Tony after the restart were untouchable, pulling away from the entire pack taking the podium finishes. Some great talent this Sunday. We look forward to the upcoming events to see how their talents progressed.
