Be on the Lookout for the New K1 Speed Commercial
Be on the look-out for the all new TV commercial coming to prime time nation wide from K1 Speed featuring arrive and drive racing and the fun families and friends can have at K1′s multiple location indoor kart racing facilities. Shot on location at the K1 Speed center in Anaheim, California which features a unique mezzanine that goes over top the center portion of the track for viewing, along with twin tunnel sections creating a very unique track layout.
The commercial was shot by On Car Studio’s Rick Graves and Paul Pfanner. Both have countless hours filming auto racing documentaries, one just this past year on Jaguar Motorsports and their years of motor racing history. The commercial is due to air in the coming months to be shown in conjunction with the grand opening of the all new Santa Clara, California and Austin, Texas K1 Speed locations.
K1 Speed Santa Clara has Officially Opened
Get ready Northern California- K1 Speed Santa Clara has officially opened its doors and will be ready for a weekend of racing. Today is a significant day for K1 Speed, as it marks the day that Northern California gets its very first K1 Speed electric indoor go karting race track. K1 Speed Santa Clara is the newest state-of-the-art kart racing center in the San Jose, Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley and Palo Alto area. Not only is this a revealing of K1 Speed’s new center, but it will be the first location to offer the brand-new European designed 20hp electric karts, which can reach speeds of 45mph!
K1 Speed Santa Clara will be featuring a 65,000 square ft. facility and will have the longest single track of all of the K1 Speed indoor kart racing centers. Come with your family and friends as there will be up to 52 karts. Junior racers are invited as well as their is no age requirement, instead our racers must meet our 4 foot minimum height requirement.

K1 Speed Austin, Texas – Under Construction
K1 Speed is expanding again, bringing european style indoor kart racing to Austin, Texas! Construction has already begun on the all new facility which will be featuring an all new line-up of karts much like the ones that are due to premier at the Santa Claria location shortly. The facility will feature a single track layout, located just down the road from the all new Circuit of the Americas race track that is set to debut the 2012 Formula 1 race at the end of next year. K1 Speed’s unique style of indoor kart racing will be a first for the Great State of Texas to offer indoor electric kart racing with our 20HP racing karts. K1 Speed Austin will offer both the adult karts (drivers 4′-10″ and taller) and junior karts (drivers 4′ to 4′-10″) for everyone to enjoy.

Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Pala Raceway
Pala Raceway is hosting the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Traxxas Pala National on Sept. 10. K1 Speed is a partner and will be there doing give aways and can’t wait to see who gets the #1 plate in the premier 450 class – it all comes down to this final stop in the series.
