Q: What should drivers wear?
A: Drivers must wear closed-toed shoes. A head sock and helmet are also required and will be provided to you for use while racing.
Q: Can I bring my own helmet?
A: Yes, as long as it is Department of Transportation (DOT) approved or greater with a full face cover and a visor or goggles.
Q: How do I get to K1 Speed?
A: Follow the link to locations, there you can obtain a map and driving locations to the facility of your choice.
Q: How fast do your karts go?
A: Our indoor go Karts are the fastest in the industry. Each has a 20 horse power (hp) electric motor that reaches speeds up to 45 miles per hour (mph).
Q: What type of training do customers go through?
A: Each racer will go through a mandatory safety briefing on the karts and track rules. The briefing will give the meaning of each flag, safety signs and also how to operate the kart.

A: Corporations are always looking for exciting team-building events and meeting venues. We have designed team-building packages for all skill levels. All meeting rooms are equipped with high-speed wireless internet, soundproof rooms and 110" projection screens complete with outputs for your laptop. We are connected to the area's best caterers and catering can also be provided upon request. All of our locations can be customized to suit your party venue needs.
Q: Do you need experience to race the karts?
A: No racing experience is required. Each driver will be briefed on track safety, track rules, flag and sign meanings and kart operation.
Q: What is the age requirement and height restrictions for racers?
A: All racers must be at least 4' 10" tall to race. All racers should be under 7' and 300 lbs.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: For groups of eight or more, it is highly recommended that you book a group event You won't ever have to wait for a track time and you will only race with the people in your group. Without a reservation for a large group, you will "Arrive and Drive," or in other words, you will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
