K1 Speed Bluffton Now Open in South Carolina!

If you’re looking for a fun indoor go kart racing experience in Bluffton/Hilton Head, then it’s time to get excited. South Carolina’s very first K1 Speed is now open! We’re amped about K1 Speed Bluffton for a whole host of reasons.

Our Second-Ever Indoor Track With Elevation!

First, this track is only the second one we’ve built with exciting elevation changes, and it’s a big one! And like our other new tracks, this track is lit by LEDs, transforming the karting experience into something new and exciting. 

The Debut of Our Next-Gen Indoor Electric Go Kart!

And speaking of “new and exciting”, you are in for an all-new driving experience when you get to Bluffton, no matter what other K1 Speed you’ve been to. That’s because Bluffton is debuting our next-gen indoor electric go kart – the OTL Superleggero! This latest kart from Italy has many upgrades over the previous generation (our Storm EFD kart). 

Sit inside, and you’ll see that the steering wheel now reflects the latest trend of formula-style steering wheels, complete with paddle shifters! The LCD display – previously on the steering wheel itself – now sits on the dash and displays both your gear and tachometer. And both the steering wheel and the pedals are also adjustable, meaning every driver of every body type can sit comfortably in these karts. 

Additionally, the Superleggero is nearly 20 pounds lighter than our previous kart. It may not sound like much, but you’ll feel the difference in handling right away.

An All-New Off-Track Experience

When you’re not getting an adrenaline rush on track, you’ll continue to get a thrill at K1 Speed Bluffton at our Omniverse Virtual Reality Arena! This exciting state-of-the-art attraction makes its K1 Speed debut at Bluffton and is going to be a must-play when you visit. 

Inside the Omniverse Arena are four unique treadmills that allow you and three other players to move a full 360-degrees without worry of falling or crashing into walls. This means you can run in any direction and roam freely within the game with your friends. The result is full VR immersion!

And like our other locations, Bluffton will feature an arcade with a great selection of video games, pool tables, air hockey, hoops, and more. There’s no age or height limit for these attractions, which means they’re perfect for family fun!

Regional Favorites at the Paddock Lounge

You’re going to work up an appetite and thirst while enjoying our attractions, so make a pit stop and recharge at our Paddock Lounge located onsite. Only this Paddock Lounge won’t be like the ones you find in other locations – this one has menu items specifically for our South Carolinians! In addition to PL favorites such as our Paddock Burger and wings, we also have fried pickles, ribs, and assorted cakes and pies. And of course, you’ll need to wash it all down with something. That’s why we have a variety of refreshing beverages – from Coca Cola, Red Bull, and iced tea to imported/domestic beer and wine by the glass.

The Best Events and Parties in Lowcountry 

After your first visit to K1 Speed Bluffton, you know you’re going to want to book your next birthday party, bachelor party, or company event at our place. And we’ll be ready to host it! Our 720 sq. ft. event room can accommodate large parties of up to 60 people. Have a smaller group? The room can be divided into two party spaces which can accommodate up to 30 people each.
