Final Challenge GP Race of 2018 This Sunday!

Well, the final Challenge GP race of 2018 is arriving this Sunday, December 2, ending another close 12-round championship for dozens of our fastest racers. In many of our locations, we’ve got some close points battles with just a handful of points separating first, second, and sometimes, third place for the 2018 season.

 

Championship Titles to be Decided on Sunday

 

Let’s take a look at some of the closest battles across the nation:

 

Phoenix

Just a handful of points separates Thomas Lyons in first and William Barkley in second.

 

Dublin

Five points are all that separate Kyle Walsh and Steve Russell in their championship quests.

 

Irvine

Six points separate Chad Vasquez and Mattia Chemolli, with all still to play for.

 

Ontario

It’s a tight one out in Ontario, with only 3 points Gable Shoenfelder and Craig Robertson

 

Kapolei

It’ll be a battle royale on the island! A mere four points separate first through third, with Demetrius holding a slim 1-point lead over Thomas, while Yasu is just 3 points behind them waiting to pounce on the title trophy.

 

Buffalo Grove

Only 4 points separate Brendan Radezely and Steve Marlovitz from championship glory.

 

Dallas

In another super close battle, 4 points separating the top 3: Nicholas Raab (84), Jeff Drayer (81), and Adam Walker (80).

 

Houston

Rob Campbell leads Ellis Vance by 3 points, Tom Richardson stands an outside chance five points behind Vance.

 

Seattle

Mark Leca has 40 points in 1st, while Kenny M and Gage S are tied for second just 4 points behind.

Whether you’ve only done a couple of races this season, or not at all, it’s never too late to jump behind the wheel and see what you’ve got against some of our fastest racers! Who knows? You may find yourself right in the middle of a tight battle with the championship contenders and influence who the title goes to!

 

The racing starts promptly at 7pm, so make sure you register by 6:30pm. The cost is only $50 and you get two 14 lap qualifying sessions and a 16 lap final race for position.
