K1 Speed is Coming to Oregon!
If you live in or near Oregon and are tired of driving long distances to visit K1 Speed, we have great news for you – we’re going to open the next K1 Speed in Portland!
K1 Speed Portland bridges the gap for you racers in the Beaver State, that previously would’ve had to drive down to California for our Sacramento location, or up to Washington for our Seattle/Redmond location – not a quick trip. Portland has been on our radar for quite some time now, so we’re super excited to finally open a center in town that Oregonians are going to love.
K1 Speed Portland will be located in Hillsboro, just a half hour from downtown Portland. This new K1 Speed center will additionally serve the communities of Beaverton, Cornelius, and Forest Grove, while still close enough to residents in Vancouver, Washington who will no longer have to make the drive to Redmond to satisfy their need for speed.
When it opens later this year, our Portland location will feature an 11-turn road-course inspired track that is guaranteed to challenge both seasoned racers and inexperienced beginners alike. And like all our new centers, Portland will also house the latest all-electric Storm and Junior go-karts imported directly from Italy.
Off-track, an arcade complete with pool tables will keep racers entertained in between races, so the fun will never end. Our sophisticated Paddock Lounge will serve a wide variety of appetizing food options, and refreshing beverages for all ages, allowing racers to recharge before, in-between, or after racing. A museum-quality collection of motorsport memorabilia will be on display throughout the center for fans of the sport to discover.
Having an event with us is always a very memorable experience for all ages, and this location will prove to be no exception. K1 Speed Portland will include two meeting rooms that will be perfect for hosting a variety of events; from birthday parties and bachelor(ette) parties, to company functions and corporate events.
This will be our 40th location to open since we started this company fifteen years ago. More information – including the official grand opening date for K1 Speed Portland – will become available soon, so be sure to keep your eyes out for our future releases!

Hello William, thanks for your interest! There is no minimum age – just a minimum height requirement which is 48″ for the junior karts, 58″ (4’10”) for the adult karts. See you at the track!

Reservations are only taken for group events (parties of 8 or more), so you will be looking at our Arrive & Drive racing for your group. This is first-come, first-served so we do recommend trying to get there as close to possible to opening (10am) as you can to ensure a shorter wait time. Otherwise, try coming in during the week for even shorter wait times! Have a great time at our track!
