K1 Speed Youth Racing League – Anaheim, Carlsbad & Ontario for 2011
08 December 2010
Coming in 2011 – K1 Speed in expanding its Youth Racing League from our Anaheim location, and including our Carlsbad and Ontario Locations. We’ve had great success with our Jr Race league at K1 Speed in Anaheim over the last year, and we are expanding to include the other locations that currently have the Jr Karts in house.
The league is geared towards drivers at least 48″ in height, and up to the age of 13 years old giving kids the opportunity to participate in a full race series just like our Challenge GP race series offered at multiple K1 Speed locations. K1 Speed’s indoor electric kart racing offers a chance for young racers to experience the thrill of competition and take that first step into motorsports that many professionals have done over the years have taken them to the top ranks of racing including NASCAR, American Le Mans competition and Sports Car Club of America (SCCA).
K1 Speed’s Jr League will begin in March of 2011, once a month, on the first Tuesday of every month ending in October 2011. The cost is $40 per driver per race to enter and it gives Jr drivers a single 14 lap qualifying round and a 16 lap main event round, giving participants of all skills levels a chance at making an appearance on the podium. The final race of the season will be a 12 lap practice race, a 14 lap qualifying race and a 16 lap main event round.
Ask the front counter staff at Anaheim, Ontario, or the Carlsbad locations for details, or check out the Junior League page on our website for more information.
