Arrive and Drive Indoor Karting in Southern California and Seattle, Washington
At K1 Speed, we've found that once people try our electric karts and experience the thrills of indoor karting at our Southern California and Seattle, Washington locations, they are hooked. Our tracks are open to the general public 7 days a week (except in events of private party reservations) and we stay open until 11PM on Friday and Saturday to accommodate late-night racers! We invite you to drop in to race against the clock or against a friend. Each Arrive and Drive session lasts for roughly 10 minutes and may include as many as 12 drivers. Racing helmets, head socks, and instruction for first time racers is provided, and our staff oversees every race to ensure individuals are driving safely and obeying the rules.

Our Arrive and Drive indoor karting in Southern
California and Seattle, Washington allows our customers to come
in any time and experience the thrill of 20hp electric karts at
a reasonable price. Providing a more accessible experience than
our racing events, our Arrive and Drive
program allows first time racers and experienced pros alike to come
in and race against the clock, and each other, for 14 exciting laps.
We can assure you that the experience is not diluted in any way
from our other race events though; our state-of-the-art electric
go karts are a thrill to drive and your results, just like in our
race events, are recorded and stored electronically, providing you
with feedback on your performance. To provide racers with detailed
print-outs of their lap times, position, and ranking information,
we use an advanced scoring system at our indoor karting tracks in
Southern California and Seattle, Washington. The system can measure
lap times within a hundredth of a second, and is a valuable learning
tool that allows individuals to objectively assess their pace. The
scores also measure overall rank against
former K1 Speed customers, and can even be viewed online. We strive
to provide the racer with everything that he or she needs to improve,
from advanced electric karts to live telemetry boards and detailed
record keeping, and we are confident that you will appreciate the

"Hi, I'm very happy with our recent experience at K1 Speed in Redmond on Sunday 12 April. My daughter is 10 and was extremely excited at her first chance to drive the same type of cart her mom and dad drove a few months ago. Her prior experience was driving a "slow cart" on a kiddie track. I was driving behind her and she drove pretty well. At one point she slid sideways and put a tire under the barrier. I stopped a few feet behind her, leaving room for cars to pass on the inside. I wondered if one or both of us might soon be rear-ended.
Two fellows from K1 (sorry I don't know their names) responded super quickly and expertly. They electronically stopped all the cars, came across the track, checked my daughter was ok, straightened out her car and the barrier and restarted the race. No one got hurt, and I think their blazing fast response prevented a larger pile-up of cars.
We went to K1 for fun and excitement. Upon reflection, I think we got that and much more. My daughter learned several valuable lessons about how to handle a car and how quickly things can change when someone makes a driving mistake. I plan to take her again for more fun and for more driver's education in a controlled environment."
