It’s time to channel your inner Drift King because things are about to get sideways at K1 Speed – introducing Drift Night!

Our karts will be modified with drift slicks that converts them into a drift-kart and sends those rear wheels slipping and sliding all over the place. You’re going to love living out your Tokyo Drift fantasies when you wrestle the wheel and feather the throttle, all while throwing your kart sideways into a turn.

It’s even more fun with a group of friends – try pulling off some slick synchronized drift moves as a team! For an extra challenge, attempt to control the slippery drift karts and compete for fast lap times. At the end of the day, you’re going to have a ton of fun and share a lot of laughs during this completely new go-karting experience.

No prior drifting experience is required. As Han Lue says, “There’s no ‘wax on wax off’ with drifting. You learn by doing it.”

Only the standard Adult kart requirements exist: drivers must be at least 58” (4 feet, 10 inches) tall and weigh no more than 300 lbs.

What the Formula Drift Pros Say

“It’s pretty awesome! It’s a great challenge to slide the karts and definitely a great entry to drifting…you actually have to learn a little bit of the kart physics. Driving is driving – you got to keep your eyes up and try to win the battle.”

– Kyle Mohan, Driver of the #99 Mazda MX-5

“The karts are super fun! It teaches you to be very light with the pedals and keep a nice and tight line throughout the course. Takes a little bit of finesse and actually reminds me of the early days of drifting. You gotta start somewhere!”

 – Chris Forsberg, 3x Formula Drift Champion, Driver of the #64 Nissan 370Z

So, there you have it! Start learning those drift skills without crashing your ride like this guy – get to the K1 Speed track near you during Drift Night! Try to get there as close to 5pm (or even a little earlier) to secure your spot, has races are first-come, first-served – just like our Arrive & Drive racing.
