As a Head Mechanic, you will service and maintain our fleet of state-of-the-art, high performance, high speed electric go karts. Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform opening track and kart repairs and performance checks
• Maintain kart performance throughout the day
• Maintain track and facility appearance and functionality
• Keep accurate documentation of repairs, parts inventory, and special projects
• Responsibly maintain supply of tools and machinery
• Respond to emergency situations as they arise
• Ensure that the pit, kart shop and track areas remain clean and safe
• Assist the track crew with track operations in limited situations
• Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management
• Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track and prepare for the following day's operation
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
• Weekends are a must!

• Cash handling duties including preparation of tills, change fund maintenance, and preparation of deposits
• Customer interaction and auditing of customer experience including but not limited to event execution
• Ensuring that cashier personnel adhere to correct cash handling procedures and sell effectively
• Ensuring that track personnel run races safely and efficiently
• Ensuring that mechanic personnel maintain our karts in peak working condition
• Ensuring that all staff are strictly adhering to company policies and providing outstanding customer service
• Ordering and purchasing operation supplies, concessions, and retail merchandise
• Performing operational paperwork duties including safety, payroll, facility
• Contributing to schedules and employee communications
• Corresponding with and providing regular reports to Management
• Maintaining the effective operational feasibility of the center
• Maintaining the highest standard of facility appearance including storage areas and the parking lot
• Coordinate with your Manager and Regional Manager to ensure that all facility maintenance is performed quickly

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to safely lift/push/pull heavy objects on an ongoing basis.
• Must have previous supervisory experience and a successful track record, preferably in the following fields: Restaurant, Entertainment, Hospitality, Bowling Alleys, Amusement Parks, Miniature Golf
• Great customer service skills-Must be able to work weekends and evenings
• A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment

Salary Range: $15.00 To 16.00 Hourly GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To ensure that all cashiers and front end staff provide a fun, informative, efficient, and exciting racing environment for our customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Ensure that all cashier personnel perform their assigned duties safely, effectively, enthusiastically and professionally · Ensure that the daily bathroom check log is completed by all staff members · Coordinate with Assistant and General Managers regarding disciplinary and operational issues · Prepare front desk and café prior to opening · Instruct new customers on race package options, pricing and the general flow. · Maintain an orderly and speedy flow while ensuring great customer service · Supervise ongoing transactions in both the café and front counter while enforcing policies and procedures. · Respond to emergency situations as they arise · Ensure that the front desk, lobby and café areas remain clean and safe environment. · Perform/delegate specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management · Check/perform that closing duties are being performed to secure the front desk and café and prepare for the following day’s operation. · Ensure proper discount/coupon/gift card procedures are implemented, up to date and being followed . · Conduct and supervisor the training of new staff. · Help oversee, maintain and organize the retail and concessions areas. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The right candidate will have a track record of mechanical repair experience, preferably in the golf kart, go kart, motorcycle, or motorsports field, and will be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Provide excellent customer service to all K1 Speed visitors
• Run races precisely, on time and safely
• Maintain track cleanliness at all times
• lifting required
• Standing for long periods of time
• Enthusiastically brief guests on safety rules before entering the track
• Assist guests with needed safety equipment
• Control races in a safe manner to maximize the FUN for guests
• Efficiently load, unload, and charge karts
