The boys of One Direction recreate Mario Kart on the 1DDAY live stream on November 23, 2013 at K1 Speed Torrance!
As competative as this season has started this was a good one.. For Henry Morse it was a cruise for victory lane qualified 1st and finshed on top. Can’t say the same about Seth Reiter who started behind pole but ended up in last place. As for Craig Robertson, he manage to work his way up a slot and finish in 2nd. Austin Farr who finished 3rd last month didn’t have much luck in the qualifying rounds started last but worked his way up to 5th place. Not bad for the 2nd race this season which I’m sure will turn out to be a exciting season 2.
Smaller than normal showing but didn’t mean there wasn’t a lot of excitement. Austin started off in 1st but took a turn wide and was passed by Craig. As the race progressed Craig took a commanding lead, and by the end of the race was almost a full lap ahead. Nice racing Craig!.. Austin held on to second place followed by new comers Sean and Ashley taking 3rd and 4th. Fun race to start off our second season’s Challenge Gp Event.
Another great turnout for the Ontario Supertrack Challenge GP Sunday night, with 15 participants! Round 5 of the 6 race season is turning out to be a great battle for the top position between Bryce Raygor and Robert Hernandez. Qualifying had some new faces showing their strength on the Supertrack, but after both qualifying rounds were complete, Robert Hernandez was able to pull off the best lap, with a 47.019.
The A Main started with the championship leader, Bryce Raygor, starting in 9th, ready to try and pick up as many points as possible to keep his championship lead. Robert Hernandez took the green flag and was able to grab a healthy lead from the start. There were a lot of close battles from 6th on back, with positions swapping multiple times per lap. Robert was able to comfortably take the win in Ontario last night, with Tyler Walker finishing second, Christopher Morales in third, John Carroll in fourth, and Wilmer Valentin in fifth.
The championship battle was even closer after round 5, with Robert taking the lead by 6 points with only one race remaining. The next GP in Ontario should be a nail biter as we close the season out. Look forward to seeing a great turnout for the round 6 on June 2nd.
