K1 Speed gets a little heat from Hell’s Kitchen
After winning the challenge in the July 26, 2011 episode of Hell’s Kitchen, the FOX reality series, the Red Team spent the day indoor go-kart racing at K1 Speed. It was a thrilling experience for both, the Red Team from Hell’s Kitchen and K1 Speed. Instead of leaving the challenges in the kitchen, Carrie, Elizabeth, Jaime and Elise, of the Red Team, continued showing their competitiveness on the racetrack. At one point the racing became personal between Elise and Carrie, as they decided to get the best of K1 Speed’s 20hp electric karts. Jaime however, must have reached a full 45mph on the racetrack since she ended up defeating both of them. Minus the minor bumping and hitting, it was an adrenaline worth venturing for these Hell’s Kitchen television stars. K1 Speed, the nation’s electric indoor kart racing leader, enjoyed hosting a day full of entertainment for Hell’s Kitchen’s Red Team. K1 Speed RS Score Competition
K1 Speed has partnered with Bergenholtz Racing to bring the next K1 Speed RS Score competition for August and September. Starting August 1st K1 Speed drivers will have 2 months (till September 30th) to accumulate the most RS points possible and get a chance to be a honorary crew member with the Bergenholtz Racing Formula Drift team for two days. The winning driver will be an honorary crew member during the Formula D Title Fight finals in Irwindale California October 7-8 which includes getting to do a ride-a-long with team driver Joon Maeng, an official crew jersey, hat, shirt and dinner with team.

K1 Speed Anaheim New Track Layout
K1 Speed in Anaheim, California has created an all new track layout for racers to compete on. Just in time for the next round of the Jr Challenge GP Race league next month, this all new layout will still incorporate the very popular mezzanine area that sits in the middle of the course layout, allowing spectators to view the action on both sides of the track from above. With an all new technical course layout, drivers are already hitting the course this week, looking to post a new lap record and be the top driver of the week / month.
