General Purpose of Job: Gaming Support Techs or Arcade Techs are responsible for the repair and maintenance of our building including games, simulators, and technical equipment. They also assist our Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the Arcade at all times.

NITTY GRITTY DETAILS: · Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all our fun. · Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action. · Provides timely and accurate service while managing wait times and communicating information as needed to Guests, Team Members, and Managers. · Greetings Guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while performing multiple job functions. Smiles and greets Guests upon entering Game room. · Assists Guests by repairing and maintaining amusements equipment in a timely manner. · Assist the Guest with all requests and answers questions as needed and make recommendations. · Bids farewell to Guests leaving. Ensures everything was satisfactory and invites Guests to return. · Notifies Manager of any Guest that is perceived to be unhappy. · Responsible for stocking, displaying, and securing merchandise in all storage areas. · Conducts merchandise inventory during and after shift, if applicable. · Checks for restocking of necessary supplies. Brings all areas up to standard. Discuss problem areas with Manager. · Reviews the cleanliness and organization of the arcade games. Ensure all games are clean and unobstructed. · Properly positions and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales. · Assists in daily maintenance and organization of tech room and storage areas. · Efficiently and safely performs daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management. · Assists with general store maintenance as directed by management. · Assists other Team Members as needed. · Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum Team Member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness. · Must be friendly and able to smile a lot while working days, nights and/or weekends as required. · Technical and/or electrical skills preferred but not required. · Must demonstrate ability to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members. · Must be at least 18 years of age. As a Mechanic , you will service and maintain our fleet of state-of-the-art, high performance, high speed electric go karts. The right candidate will have a track record of mechanical repair experience, preferably in the golf kart, go kart, motorcycle, or motorsports field, and will be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Perform opening track and kart repairs and performance checks
• Maintain kart performance throughout the day
• Maintain track and facility appearance and functionality
• Keep accurate documentation of repairs, parts inventory, and special projects
• Responsibly maintain supply of tools and machinery
• Respond to emergency situations as they arise
• Ensure that the pit, kart shop and track areas remain clean and safe
• Assist the track crew with track operations in limited situations
• Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management
• Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track and prepare for the following day's operation
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment
• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
• Weekends are a must!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Prepare track and karts prior to opening · Instruct new customers on proper kart usage, race flag usage, and racing safety · Maintain an orderly and speedy flow of racers through the track(s) · Supervise ongoing races and enforce race policies and procedures · Respond to emergency situations as they arise · Ensure that the pit and track areas remain clean and safe · Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management · Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track and prepare for the following day’s operation EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: No prior experience or training. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and respond to questions. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
