About K1 Speed
Since 2003, K1 Speed has thrilled millions of racers with an authentic indoor karting experience. Our all-electric go-karts, imported directly from Italy, are state-of-the-art and are capable of reaching speeds of up to 45 miles per hour!
Each center features modern decor in a sophisticated setting, while most feature authentic motorsport memorabilia ranging from race-used car panels to authentic historic NASCAR and IndyCar vehicles. In addition to our kart racing experience, many of our centers include an arcade and a Paddock Lounge café that serves food and drinks.
Our indoor tracks are professionally designed to challenge both novices and experienced racers alike. And you won’t find used tires or giant plastic cubes lining our tracks. Instead, our tracks are lined with Protex barriers – the safest and most advanced indoor barrier system in the world.
Each race is a race against the clock as you compete against others on track for the best lap time. The race ends when the first racer to complete 12 laps crosses the finishes line. At the end of each race, you’ll receive a scoresheet with a breakdown of your lap times and how your fastest lap time compares to the other drivers on track with you, and against the fastest drivers of the week.
