K1 Speed’s 100+ locations and 2 K1 Circuit locations are full of employees who represent what it means to be part of the K1 family. This month, we recognize our first international nominee.
Loane Ingles
LYON
Loane is among our best employees in France. Having grown up in Lyon, K1 Speed offered her an interesting employment opportunity in the Summer of 2022. Loane has excelled since joining the company and looks forward to seeing how she can better K1 Speed’s influence within the French karting sphere. Like many of our employees, Loane discovered the world of motorsports through K1 Speed. Loane sees herself taking on a managerial role soon, looking to propel her career to new heights. Some of her passions outside of K1 Speed include sports and fashion. Loane is an invaluable part of the team behind K1 Speed Lyon, and we are happy to help give her much-deserved recognition.

Brock Weers
DALLAS
Brock originally wanted to work for K1 Speed because of his experience go-karting as a kid with his father. Before working at K1 Speed Dallas, Brock did not have experience in customer-facing roles. One of the main reasons he wanted to work for the company was to have those gratifying interactions with race enthusiasts, capturing the joy and excitement he felt racing at K1 Speed as a child. “For me, it’s making somebody’s day a little better,” Brock said regarding what he enjoys the most about his job. “Ultimately, being able to change somebody’s mood from maybe not so-good to even just the slightest bit better is a main priority for me.” Brock embodies a genuine, customer-first mentality that we hope others can replicate in their own centers. A self-driven manager, Brock hopes to continue up the promotional ladder within K1 Speed operations.
Leanna Nava
SACRAMENTO
Leanna grew up outside of Sacramento in a town called Galt, where she learned how to ride quads and dirt bikes. Growing up, some of her friends had dirt tracks in their backyards, which gave Leanna a place to practice her skills. Leanna’s first go-karting experience was at 13 years old via RPM raceway, the track where K1 Speed Sacramento is now. Leanna has helped improve K1 Speed Sacramento since she started as a cashier in 2013, resulting in her current position as general manager. Leanna also helped open our Richmond center as part of the training team, teaching new employees the operational side of the business. When asked which K1 Speed track is her favorite, Leanna was quick to answer her home track at K1 Speed Sacramento, citing it’s technical turns and overall track length. Leanna’s path to general manager from cashier is a great example for other K1 Speed employees to follow.
Kylie Friddle
CINNAMINSON
An original employee of Speed Raceway before the K1 Speed Cinnaminson takeover, Kylie has been an integral part of the Cinnaminson team from the start. “Kylie is the kind of employee every team hopes to have — she’s reliable, hardworking, always focused on the guest experience and deeply committed to our brand & operational excellence,” Cinnaminson General Manager Robert Gibbons commented. Kylie said her favorite part of the job is helping run children’s birthday parties, enjoying the party planning aspect and the joy she can bring to groups. Caring for others is one of Kylie’s innate personality traits, reflected in her party planning as well as her desire to practice pediactric occupational therapy in the future. Kylie plans to work for K1 Speed as she continues her educational pursuits, currently deciding which PhD program suits her best.
Evan Turner
DULUTH
While working at K1 Speed Duluth, Evan excels at creating positive customer experiences, often explaining race lines and how to improve lap times to Arrive & Drive customers. Before bringing his talents to K1 Speed Duluth, Evan was in the Army and repaired night vision systems. K1 Speed was an inviting opportunity for Evan due to his childhood love of racing. “Whether it’s leading by example during high-volume shifts, supporting newer team members, or making sure our guests have the best experience possible, Evan shows up with dedication and integrity,” Duluth General Manager Michael Prince said. His calm presence, strong work ethic, and reliability have made a tremendous impact on both operations and morale.” Evan wants to continue moving up at K1 Speed, hoping to become a general manager of his own center when the opportunity presents itself.
