K1 Speed Donates Over $125,000 to ASPCA and ROWW
ASPCA and ROWW: Making the World a Better Place
If you’ve visited a K1 Speed center recently, you’ll likely have seen our silent auction tables with signed memorabilia from the world of sports, film, and television. Not only does this provide you with an opportunity to score some really cool stuff, but the proceeds we collect from the purchase of these items are donated to charities that we feel strongly about.
Being that we’re total animal lovers and with the ASPCA’s Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month coming up in April, the decision to donate to the ASPCA was an easy choice. Additionally, seeing the devastation from the LA wildfires earlier this year motivated us to donate a portion to Reach Out WorldWide – the emergency response organization founded by the late Paul Walker.
ASPCA: A Big Donation for a Huge Cause
At K1 Speed, we may not always agree on which racing series is the best, who the greatest racer of all time is, or which K1 Speed center has the best track layout. But there’s one thing we can always agree on: the fact that animals are the best.
That’s why we’re proud to announce that we’ve donated $104,169 to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month this April.
ASPCA’s Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month
The ASPCA has recognized April as Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month since 2006. The goal of their April efforts is to encourage watchfulness from people like you and me. That means keeping your eyes open to recognize any animal abuse and to report it when you see it. This not only applies to anything you see in the real world but anything you see on the internet, too.
You can also celebrate this month by organizing fundraisers for the ASPCA, volunteer or adopt at your local animal shelter, eating vegan or certified humane products, plus much, much more.

Donating in Our Backyard
Earlier this year, the Palisades and Eaton fires caused massive amounts of property damage. Founded in California and headquartered in Orange County, we feel compelled to provide our support to the Los Angeles community in this time of rebuilding.
We are happy to donate $25,000 to Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), helping bring medical professionals and construction experts to LA areas impacted by the disastrous fires. As stated above, the funds for our donations come from silent auctions across various U.S. K1 Speed locations.
Paul Walker’s ROWW
ROWW was founded in 2010 by actor and car enthusiast Paul Walker. With our involvement in karting and Paul’s history as part of The Fast and the Furious movie franchise, we see our donation to ROWW as a way to give back within the racing world. Paul’s legacy is carried on by his younger brother and current CEO of ROWW, Cody Walker.
