October is here, and while thoughts tend to gravitate towards Halloween parties, there’s something far more horrifying than any costume, movie, or decoration we’ll see this month.
See, about one in eight American women (over 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer at some point in their lifetime. This means there’ll be over a quarter of a million new cases just this year alone in the US. Of course, this affects the male population as well, where we’ll see about 2,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer this year alone. Scary numbers indeed.
