October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. There has been a lot of progress made but still a long way to go.

Speed for a Cure
On Thursday, October 29th, K1 Speed will be participating in a center-wide fundraising event named #SPEEDFORACURE to raise awareness of Breast Cancer. K1 Speed will donate 25% of all Arrive & Drive races to the Susan G Komen Foundation. Upon registration, cashiers will be wearing pink t-shirts to promote awareness. We encourage racers to wear pink to support the cause.

This is a nationwide fundraising event. To find a K1 Speed near you please CLICK HERE.
