Located on Lawrence Drive in Thousand Oaks, K1 Speed brings indoor electric go-kart racing, arcade games, casual dining, and group events to the Conejo Valley in Ventura County, California.
Our indoor entertainment center offers year-round activities for families, friends, and groups, whether you’re competing for the fastest lap or celebrating a special occasion.
We’re just off the 101 freeway between Rancho Conejo Boulevard and Wendy Drive, just 2 miles from the Stagecoach Museum and a mile from Mike Malamut Vintage Car Museum.
Our 16-Turn Indoor Go-Kart Track
Our center features a challenging 16-turn indoor go-kart track that combines sweeping corners, tight hairpins, and technical sections that reward precision behind the wheel.
The opening corners lead into a tight sequence at Turns 3 and 4, where braking and finding the right racing line are essential. From there, the track opens into a more flowing section, including the sweeping Turn 7, before tightening again through the challenging Turns 9 through 11.
The final section features several sharp changes of direction, including the tight Turns 13 and 14, before Turns 15 and 16 lead you back onto the start/finish straight. Finding the right balance between carrying momentum through the sweeping corners and braking for the hairpins is the key to a quick lap.

Indoor Go-Kart Racing for Kids and Adults
K1 Speed is famous for their Italian-made electric rental karts for kids, teens, and adults. There are many benefits to electric karts over gas karts, such as zero emissions and instant torque. But we recommend checking out our electric vs. gas kart comparison to learn more!
The OTL Storm Karts can reach speeds of up to 45 miles per hour and are perfect for older kids, teens, and adults. Meanwhile, our OTL Junior Karts can go up to 25 miles per hour, which is plenty fast for kids!
