We’re super excited to announce today that the very first K1 Speed in Idaho is now open – introducing K1 Speed Boise!

Experience our Challenging Elevated Track!

When you visit K1 Speed Boise, you’re going to be blown away once you see our TWO elevated indoor go kart tracks. This amazing piece of race track engineering provides a thrilling experience for both kids and grown-ups alike. Track 1 is a challenging, technical course that’ll test the skills of teens and adults. Meanwhile Track 2 is our dedicated junior track to keep the flow going on a busy weekend day.

 

The Super Track

 

Here’s the most exciting element of our two indoor tracks: they can be linked together to form a Super Track! The lengthy Super Track is used for special events and delivers a unique challenging experience you can’t find at any other K1 Speed in the world.

 

And like all of our latest tracks, the entire track is lined with LED lighting, which delivers an otherworldly experience during our Glo Karting nights held weekly! In addition to lighting, our track is lined with the safest, most modern barrier system there is out there – Protex – that safely absorbs any impacts.

The Latest All-Electric Go Karts From Italy!

At K1 Speed Boise, we have TWO kinds of karts: junior karts, and adult karts. Our junior karts can accommodate kids from 48″ tall and can travel up to 20 mph (which will feel like 200 mph for them). While our adult karts – the Superleggero – give drivers 4’10” or taller the fastest indoor karting experience there is at speeds of up to 45 mph!

 

The Junior Karts

 

Our junior karts are the perfect gateway for children to get into the world of motor racing. Not only are these karts quick, but they pack tons of safety features to keep your child protected. We love seeing the smiles on kids faces when they take their racing helmet off after an exhilarating karting session. Plus parents love filming their first laps around a proper go kart track!

 

And while most K1 Speed centers have one row of these karts, K1 Speed Boise has TWO rows of junior karts. Two rows and a dedicated junior track means plenty of availability for your kids to race on busy weekends.

 

The Superleggero Go Kart

 

Naturally, if we’ve got the latest and greatest indoor kart track, you’re going to want to drive the latest and greatest go karts too! That’s why we’ve got two rows of the new Superleggero all-electric go karts in our pits. These karts feature the latest safety features, have long-lasting high-performance lithium batteries, are lighter than the K1 Speed karts before it, modern formula-racer style steering wheels, and feature digital displays on the dash.

Off-Track Thrills!

The thrills and fun keeps going even after the checkered flag has fallen at K1 Speed Boise! That’s because our arcade features the latest video games and prize machines! The arcade allows anybody who either isn’t interested in racing or can’t meet the height requirement to still enjoy some fun. Plus, it makes time go by quick in-between races!

Recharge at the Paddock Lounge!

Now all this fun is not only going to work up a thirst and appetite, but you’re also not going to want to leave, either! That’s why we’ve built an onsite eatery at K1 Speed Boise – the Paddock Lounge.

 

Our Paddock Lounge is not like your typical karting concession stand. Our sophisticated café is decorated with Edison-style light fixtures, wooden bier-garden style tables, and modern decor.

 

And while the Paddock Lounge currently serves light snacks and drinks, it’ll soon expand to include plenty more food options. This will include items such as burgers, wings, pizzas, nachos, and more! So when your batteries are running low, make a pit stop and recharge at the Paddock Lounge!

Your Place in Meridian / Boise for Parties & Events!

K1 Speed is not only a great place to spend an impromptu day of fun, but the perfect venue for your next birthday party, corporate event, bachelor party, or other special occasion!

 

An event at K1 Speed gives your group the VIP experience: reserved race times, grand prix-style race formats with qualifying and races for position, podium ceremonies, and more. Plus, our two party rooms located onsite can provide your group with a dedicated space away from the general public for post-race celebrations and meals.

 

And we’ve also got our Mezzanine which perches above the facility, giving you a unique viewing platform to watch the on-track action. Our Mezzanine is also available to rent for your private event.

Authentic Racing Memorabilia

Another exciting feature to K1 Speed locations around the world is that we display authentic motorsport memorabilia that are worthy of any automotive museum.

 

At K1 Speed Boise, we’ve got two authentic racing vehicles on display: a 1990s-era IndyCar and an ex-Kenny Roberts, Jr. Suzuki racing motorcycle! In addition to the vehicles, we’ve got other memorabilia scattered throughout the facility for you to gawk at.

Open Seven Days A Week in Meridian!

As you can see, there’s lots to do and plenty to see at the all-new K1 Speed Boise indoor karting center! We’re open here seven days a week, and reservations are not required to race – simply Arrive & Drive!
