K1 Speed The Woodlands Now Open!

The moment many have waited for is finally here – K1 Speed The Woodlands is now open!

This location is our SIXTH karting center in the great state of Texas, and our second location in the greater Houston area. But those aren’t the only news-worthy items when it comes to our latest track. Read on to learn more about what you can expect at K1 Speed The Woodlands!

One of Our Longest Tracks!

They say everything’s bigger in Texas, and our new track in The Woodlands matches that reputation! This new track is one of the longest of any K1 Speed locations around the world and is sure to challenge both first-time racers and seasoned pros alike!

The Superleggero Arrives in Texas!

When you race our newest track, you’ll get to enjoy the very latest electric go-karts out of Italy: the OTL Superleggero adult kart! In fact, The Woodlands is our first center in Texas to offer these karts! Anyone 4’10” (58″) or taller will enjoy all the new features of this kart, including a dash-mounted digital gauge, paddle shifters, and a modern formula-style steering wheel. Like the previous generation of karts, the Superleggero is capable of speeds approaching 45 mph, making it among the fastest in the entertainment industry.

Of course, our Superleggero racers won’t be the only ones to enjoy K1 Speed The Woodlands. This center also has the very latest junior karts for children 48″ (4′) or taller to enjoy. These pocket rockets are the perfect entry point for any youngsters looking to get into the world of motorsport and reach speeds of up to 25 mph!

An Action-Packed Arcade!

The action continues off-track at K1 Speed The Woodlands in our arcade! This arcade features a large variety of video games, prize machines, air hockey, pool tables, and games of skill, including basketball hoops, punching bags, and more! So when the checkered flag flies, challenge your friends and family and compete for the highest scores!

Recharge at our Paddock Lounge!

A K1 Speed center is never truly complete without our onsite Paddock Lounge café! This gastropub-inspired eatery serves a wide selection of delicious food and beverages for you to enjoy in a sophisticated setting. Popular food items include our stone-fired Italian pizzas, brisket grilled cheese, and our ginormous pretzel. To wash everything down, enjoy any of our ice-cold refreshments such as soft drinks, Gatorades, and Red Bull energy drinks. Soon, adults 21 years and older will enjoy a curated selection of beer and wine after they’ve finished racing for the day.
