Canton Teen & Adult Race Academy
Enroll in Canton’s K1 Karting Academy!
Are you a junior, teen, or adult who wants to elevate your racing skills, learn from experienced coaches, and practice position racing in a group environment? Then enroll in the K1 Karting Academy – exclusively at K1 Speed Canton on Friday, January 2nd, for teens and adults, and Saturday, January 3rd, for juniors!
This exciting workshop provides lessons both in a classroom session and on-track sessions to increase your racing skills so you can start setting faster lap times and work on your racecraft for their upcoming race events! Plus, we’ll even throw in a pizza and drinks lunch!

Schedule
8:30 am: Check In
9:00 am – 9:30 am: Classroom instruction
9:30 am – 10:00 am: Track walk and racing line/driving techniques
10:00 am – 10:30 am: Timed races & coaching
10:30 am – 11:30 am: Grid races & coaching
11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Lunch – pizza!
COACHES:
- For juniors only: you will be coached by our very own 2024 K1 Speed Junior E-World Champion, Giovanni Blackerby!
- For juniors, teens, and adults: our K1 Speed staff will also be on hand to provide coaching in small groups as well. We usually assign one coach per 3-4 drivers.
- For all: we’ll use in-helmet intercoms to communicate with drivers to give them feedback in real-time
Who Can Enroll?
To enroll in our Teen and Adult K1 Karting Academy, you’ll need to satisfy the guidelines for our adult karts: a minimum height of 4’10”.
How Much Does it Cost to Enroll?
The cost is just $139 per driver. We will collect your payment information but only charge you once we meet the minimum of 8 drivers and confirm the event (by December 31st).

- Kart rental & helmets
- K1 Speed staff coaching and mentoring
- Lots of track time and racing
- Lunch!
Note: Personal helmets are not required for this event because we’ll use special in-helmet communication.
