Recap: K1 Speed Denver Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Wednesday, October 8, 2014
Last week we celebrated the official Ribbon Cutting of K1 Speed Denver in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. We saw Mayor Phil Cernanec, South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and K1 Speed Managers cut the ribbon to officially welcome K1 Speed to Denver. This marks our 20th center nationwide!
IndyCar drivers Justin Wilson and JR Hildebrand were in attendance meeting and racing with fans. Coming off the 2014 IndyCar Series season, both drivers looked to hone their skills at our newest track in the off-season. They are great competitors on and off the track.

We also hosted the 2014 MLL Champion Denver Outlaws players and trophy. Matt Bocklet and Jeremy Sieverts met with fans and tested their skills on the track. Highlands Ranch is a hot-bed for lacrosse and we saw fans of all ages excited to meet players and take photos with the Championship trophy.
All in all everyone had a wonderful time and we’re excited to bring all-electric indoor kart racing to the Mile High City!
