Indoor Go-Kart Racing & Entertainment in the Richmond Area
K1 Speed brings indoor go-kart racing, a video game arcade, casual dining, and a venue for birthday parties, corporate events, and team-building to the Richmond area.
Located at Chesterfield Marketplace near Midlothian Turnpike and Koger Center Boulevard, our center is right next to the Chesterfield Towne Center and just 12 miles from downtown Richmond.
Our 9-Turn Indoor Go-Kart Track
K1 Speed Richmond features a nine-turn indoor go-kart track that combines flowing corners, tight hairpins, and technical sections that challenge drivers to find the fastest racing line.
The lap begins with a fast 90-degree right-hand turn before tightening into a pair of consecutive hairpins. From there, drivers navigate quick changes of direction through a right-left combination before entering the technical final section leading back to the start/finish line.
Finding the right balance between maintaining momentum through the faster corners and positioning your kart for the tighter turns is key to putting together a quick lap.

Go-Karts for Kids & Adults
Race our Italian-made electric go-karts at K1 Speed! Our Richmond location has OTL Junior Karts for kids that can go up to 20 mph, and OTL Storm Karts for older kids, teens, and adults that can reach speeds of up to 45 mph. Our electric karts have many benefits over gas-powered karts, including instant torque and zero exhaust fumes. But that’s not all – read our full comparison on electric vs. gas karts to get the inside scoop!
First time visiting? Learn about our go-kart height requirements, what you should wear, and other important information before you head to the track – read our Know Before You Go guide!

We also offer a selection of soft drinks, plus beer and wine for guests 21 and older who have finished racing for the day.
