Serving DuPage County and Chicagoland
Located in DuPage County, K1 Speed Addison brings indoor electric go-kart racing to racers throughout Chicago’s western suburbs. Situated just off I-355 and I-290, our Addison center provides a convenient racing destination for guests coming from Elmhurst, Lombard, Bloomingdale, Schaumburg, and surrounding communities.
As part of K1 Speed’s Chicagoland network, alongside our centers in Buffalo Grove serving the northern suburbs and Mokena in the south, our Addison facility offers high-performance arrive-and-drive racing, corporate team-building events, and private parties year-round.
Addison features two professionally designed indoor tracks: one for adults and one for juniors.
Adult Track
Featuring 11 turns, including wide sweepers and tight hairpins, this track is perfect for learning and gaining confidence in a kart.
Junior Track
Track 2 has 10 turns and immediately throws you into a tight 180-degree hairpin, which helps racers prioritize technique over raw power. Maintaining speed out of turns is vital for a good lap time.

Casual Dining in Chicago’s Western Suburbs
The Paddock Lounge is our modern, trackside restaurant & cocktail bar in Addison, providing a clean and contemporary space to recharge during your visit. We designed this eatery as the perfect pit stop: a comfortable and stylish space for your crew to connect over great food, with a direct view of the racing action so you never miss a moment.
Our menu is built on satisfying classics, crafted from quality ingredients. Addison also boasts a full drink menu with racing-inspired cocktails, along with beer & wine options.
Addison’s Go-To Arcade
The arcade has around 20 games for guests to continue competing with one another off-track. Featuring a variety of titles like Halo, Big Bass Wheel, NERF Arcade, and more, the arcade has a game for everyone. Keep the good times going long after the race is over!
The K1 Speed Difference
Our indoor track allows individuals to race every day of the year, regardless of weather. No more canceled track days, just pure racing in a controlled environment. The indoor setting at other tracks might feel stuffy after a while, especially with gas karts. We set the industry standard for electric karts at K1 Speed and are proud to continue providing sustainable entertainment without toxic exhaust fumes.
Birthdays, Bachelor Parties, Company Events & More
With an 1000-person maximum capacity, cocktails, beer & wine, an on-site restaurant, and more, this venue is made to host memorable parties. Featuring 12 event rooms with varying capacities from 12 – 250, we can accommodate any group. We have several packages to choose from, including:

I tried Go-Karting at K1 Speed Addison for the very first time, and it was an awesome experience! 🏁🔥I was able to take advantage of their Monday Special offer, which included 3 races. There wasn’t a long line or much waiting time to get on the karts, which made the experience even better. There are two different indoor race tracks to choose from. Since it’s indoor go-karting, the tracks aren’t as large as outdoor tracks, but they’re still a lot of fun! The tight corners, continuous braking and accelerating, and occasional skidding really make the races exciting. 😄🏎️💨The facility felt safe and well-organized, and the staff was very professional, friendly, and helpful throughout the experience.Overall, I had a great time and will definitely be coming back again! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a fun indoor activity. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great staff great experience. My son and i went back in Dec. However he was not tall enough. They were great with explaining to my son why he couldnt quite ride. This time he was Tall enough! The guys running the track on sunday were great with him. One guy gave him some fist bumps. I commented on the buffalo grove location in the past. Ive have nothing but a great experience at both places. I've been to silmar California and raced there. K1 Definitely picks the right people for the job!

Wait time-wasn't to long about 1.5hrs for us in a group of 6 people but it was also a Sunday and father's day.. but we played pool to kill the time.. it was raining alot that day so it was pretty humid inside..The Karts-the karts aren't new but some have been rebuilt with new parts the tires vary some karts you get assigned had new tires or old ones so if you can drive fast you will be drifting more then turning. The Staff-some of the guys operating the track and assigning the karts are solid and I remember them from a few months ago they keept everything fast and smooth. But there where a few newer people there that did pay attention while I was on the track and I had wasted 4 laps with limited power and I couldn't get go practice for faster lap time.. 20.52 seconds I do remember hitting 19.60 seconds before maybe bcs the karts are just getting to oldbut I can't really say much since it seemed they where overwhelmed that day I been coming to this K1 location for at least 10yrs
