Race to Round 4: Challenge GP & Top 50 Update!
With Round 4 of the 2026-2027 Challenge GP season on the horizon, we wanted to take a moment to highlight neck-and-neck battles that have developed over the first quarter of the league racing schedule. Plus, keep reading for an update on our international K1RS Top 50!
Junior Challenge GP
Chula Vista
Last season’s Challenge GP runner-up Jimmy Malinoski leads with 38 points, one point over both Juan Preciado and defending champion Liam Lunceford, who share second place.
Clovis
Defending Challenge GP champion Connor Penix, with 28 points, sits two points over a three-way tie for second position between Urijah Lee, Liam Monroe, and Logan Burchfiel.
Dublin
The top three positions at Dublin are each separated by just one point: Brennan Noble sits in first with 37 points, Nathan Fernandez is in second with 36 points, and 2025 runner-up Johnny Petty is currently third with 35 points.
Thousand Oaks
Defending Challenge GP champion Eyal Bitton has 46 points, which equates to a single-point advantage over Race Palumbo - a decorated K1 racer who is competing in his second K1 Speed U.S. E-Karting Championship this May.
Torrance
Enzo Mastroianni shares the lead with Ivan Manolov at 27 points, but they’ll need to look out for Beau Aubry who sits just one point behind.
Denver
Xeus Sahl and Jackson Colley are tied for the lead with 43 points, while Kyleigh Novak sits one point behind the duo.
Daytona Beach
Landen Manney sits in the lead with 21 points, but the top five are incredibly close. Defending Challenge GP champion Kai Park is in second, only one point behind Manney, while Reef Pendergrass, 2025 third-place finisher Aaron Morris, and Jeffran Torres are tied for third with 19 points each.
Tampa
Luis Grynewicz, our defending Challenge GP champion who also finished third in the 2026 Junior Florida Championship, sits in the lead with 28 points, one point ahead of second-place Elliot Phillips, who finished third last season.
Boise
After finishing fourth last season, Bob Root is making a statement in first with 24 points and enjoys just a single-point lead over Logan Hansel.
Addison
The top three are separated by just one point between leader Jonny Kirsch (39 points), who finished third last season, and second-place Owen Mitchell, and Matthew Caimi in third.
Las Vegas
Las Vegas’ defending Challenge GP champion and 2026 Junior Nevada Championship winner, Baron Schlemmer, shares the lead with Zachary Au Yueung (79 points), while 2024 Vegas Junior Champion CJ Klok is only one point behind the leading pair.
Mount Kisco
Nicolas Schluender is in the lead with 29 points, just one point over Eli Rigotti.
West Nyack
Hennelly Sack and David Lee are tied for first with 33 points each.
Harrisburg
Our runner-up in Challenge GP last season, Jace Olson, leads with 27 points, which is just a single point over Joshua Milkovich, who sits just one place in front of Jeffrey Mikovich, who finished third last season but became our 2026 Junior Pennsylvania Championship winner earlier this year.
Horsham
There are two ties in the top 4: last season’s third-place finisher Cameron Goldfam and Kaiden Fitzpatrick are tied for the lead with 64 points each, but Ian Choung and Saverio Damian are just two points behind.
Seattle
Defending Challenge GP champion and 2026 Junior Washington Championship winner, Blake Gibbs, has a tight lead with 20 points over Derek Liu in second.
Tukwila
It’s tight in Tukwila between Jackson Mann with 50 points, while Nolan Nguyen and Caius Duran are tied at 49 points.
Milwaukee
Enzo Grueneberg and Sebastian Ficks are locked in a tie for first with 36 points each.
Teen Challenge GP

Anaheim
Aiden Sekhar (53) leads Hunter Hassanzadeh by just one point, having climbed three ranks on the leaderboard with a stellar third-round performance.
Thousand Oaks
Ryan Ahmadi and Samir Warner are tied for first place at 54 points.
Denver
It’s a namesake battle between Liam Sizemore (118) and Liam Kobar, separated by just one point after three rounds.
Boise
2026 Teen Idaho Championship winner Dominic Brown and 2026 Teen Idaho Championship runner-up Collin Lippa are locked in a first-place battle, tied at 41 points.
Jessup
Just three points separate the podium outside of Baltimore, with 2026 Teen Maryland Championship runner-up Emil Vuppuluri (78) in first, Luis Canales (77) in second, and Isaac Williams (76) in third.
Mount Kisco
Dylan Kotash and Karsten Schluender are fighting for P1, matching one another at 36 points.
Manassas
Mitchell Cook and Tibby Thibodeau are now tied at 67 points, with Tibby climbing two spots on the leaderboard in the third round.
Waukesha
Michael Smiley is in a tie for first with Guiherme Mosquim, both sitting at 36 points.
Adult Challenge GP
Birmingham
2026 Teen Alabama Championship 3rd-place finisher Tyler Anderson and back-to-back 2026 Adult Alabama Championship winner Teddy Oates are tied at 58 points with 9 races to go.
Burbank
Allen Vartanian and Alex Kuskey are matched evenly so far with 21 points apiece.
Torrance
Two of our 2025 K1RS Top 50 racers — Greg Messinger and Michael Chan — are locked together at a fitting 50 points.
Thousand Oaks
Robert Stalker and Oliver Golding share first place at 65 points.
Boise
Almambet Iskakov and Patrick Woo co-lead the pack going into round four with 18 points.
New Orleans
2026 Adult Louisiana Championship runner-up Justice Matthews and 2026 Adult Louisiana Championship winner Ethan Wells are matched at 44 points.
Oxford
Janson Villanueva and Bryce Goodsell have 33 points, followed closely by Ryan Reitsma with 32 points.
Lee’s Summit
2026 Adult Missouri Championship winner Alexander Hughes and Zack Cavanaugh are battling to see who’ll reach 70 points first, currently tied atop the leaderboard with 67 points.
Dallas
Travis Phemister climbed two spots on the leaderboard after round three, now tied for first with Andrew Crosson at 41 points. The pair is followed by Mathew Davis in third with 30 points.
