If you’re in town for a race at Portland International Racewayor just visiting the Oregon Zoo, this location is about 20 miles from the track, the Hillsboro Airport and less than 10 miles from Hondo Dog Park. For anybody looking for go-kart racing in Portland, Hillsboro, Beaverton, Forest Grove, Banks, Cornelius, and Vancouver, you’ve just found the greatest indoor karting experience you could ask for.
Our state-of-the-art location features museum-quality motorsport memorabilia, the latest all-electric Storm and Junior go-karts imported directly from Italy, an 11-turn road-course inspired track, arcade, and our Paddock Lounge that serves delicious food and refreshing beverages for all ages. The location’s two meeting rooms are perfect for birthday parties, company events, corporate functions, and bachelor(ette) parties.

It was a fantastic experience. The cars handled well, We were provided a protective head shield to wear under our helmets, which appeared to be clean. Everything was great!!!

Did not like how race began before all carts on track. This caused several people in the group to get lapped reducing the number of laps they were able to take.

Excessively fun activity, I highly recommend trying this. This was my first high speed Karting experience. I was fortunate to come at a time (5pm on a Friday) where no one else was racing when I got there so I got to do 2 races (12 laps each) alone and teach myself the basics of cornering, especially when to brake, when to release, and when to full throttle (almost the entire time GO FAST!!). Then 3 races with others and I greatly enjoyed passing and lapping people.It was $103 for 5 races, a racing license (annual renewal, $7 by itself if not bought with a bundle), and the head sock that you wear to keep the sweat out of your eyes and I assume to help keep the helmet clean. They printed out an info sheet for each race so you could see race results, your best lap time, average lap time, and the gap between you and the leader.One thing they don't tell you initially is that they throttle your speed and acceleration to 4 different levels. You only get bumped up to 4 if you hit a top time of something like 24.6 I think it was. That's not hard to hit if you're driving solo, my PB was something like 22.4. But just keep that in mind that you might be throttled to 3 until you hit that threshold.Again, I highly recommend going. Employees were friendly and helped me along with my first Karting experience.
