DETAILS
Family Entertainment Center in Rockland County, NY!
K1 Speed is an indoor family entertainment center located inside the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, New York. This premier Rockland County attraction offers a variety of entertainment options, with its central feature being high-performance, all-electric go-karting on a professionally designed indoor track. The facility, with a maximum capacity of 300, offers year-round entertainment for families, groups, and individuals. Pro Tip: Park by the mall’s Best Buy entrance, then take the escalator up one floor!
Track Layout
The West Nyack track has 9 turns and favors momentum and rhythmic driving over harsh braking. Keep the pedal to the metal through the first turn – a sweeping right. From there, take a wide approach into the right at Turn 2 and keep your momentum. Let off the accelerator into Turn 3, a right hairpin. From there, stay smooth as you approach an opposite, left-hand hairpin. Don’t worry about braking through the rest of the track; it’s a set of sweeping lefts and rights, then boom, across the Start/Finish Line.
