We’re excited to announce that we now have a second go kart racing location in LA County location – K1 Speed Burbank!
Previously, Angelenos searching for the best racing experience had only one option – our amazing K1 Speed Torrance. But now that K1 Speed Burbank is open, we have TWO locations in the Greater LA Metro-Area! We’re now more accessible to residents in the area than ever before.
Hey Studios, There’s a New Film Shoot Location In Town
Given our close proximity to the movie and television industry, our new Burbank center provides an exciting new location for video shoots to all the local studios. We’ve already been a part of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, Nickelodeon’s JoJo Siwa, and Flo Rida’s music video for the hit single “Let It Roll”, plus many more. We can’t wait to see what’ll be filmed now that we’re neighbors with some of the largest studios in the business. If you work in the industry, consider this your invite *wink* *wink*.

The indoor track is professionally designed to promote overtaking opportunities and presents a challenge to both amateurs and veteran racers alike. Lining the track are Protex karting barriers – the latest and safest barrier system on the market today. Hello Eli! We’re running a different timing system at our Burbank location than at most of our other centers. At this exact moment, we don’t have that function up and running but it is something we’ll have operational and on our site very, very soon. We appreciate your patience in the meantime!

That’s very considerate of you, Ricardo! You two are still welcome whenever, but you’ll probably want to visit sometime when it’s not as busy. Try right around opening during the week if you can – it’s generally fairly slow and there won’t be as many people on the track. You might even get lucky and have a race to yourselves if it’s slow enough. Have a fun time out there! And if you are out there with quicker drivers, don’t worry. Just obey our blue flags (let the faster driver pass) and you’ll be all good!
