A Full Year of Indoor Kart Endurance Racing in Canton, OH!

If you can’t get enough of go-kart racing and you live near Canton, Ohio, then listen up: K1 Speed Canton hosts thrilling indoor go-kart endurance racing events all year long!

That’s right, our Canton location has THREE different kinds of endurance race events that you can participate in: their monthly endurance league, the 12 Hours of Canton, and the 6-Hour Twilight Race.

Here’s a breakdown of each kind of event.

Monthly Canton Endurance League

When: March through August | September through February

Canton’s Endurance League hosts two 7-race championship seasons yearly, typically from March through August and from September through February. Each event consists of an 8-minute qualifying session to set the grid (and which race group you’ll be in) and a 30-minute final race for position. Setting a quick pace won’t be the only challenge in the final race. Since you’re required to make a pit stop at some point during the race, you’ll also need to make the correct strategy call at the right time to bring yourself in.

Points are awarded based on your finishing position, and the three drivers who score the most points during the course of the season walk away with prizes, including credits towards the next season of the Endurance League!

The 12 Hours of Canton

When: After Fall/Winter Endurance League Season

Canton Endurance Race

The Fall/Winter season of Canton’s Endurance League wraps up right before the start of their biggest endurance event: the 12 Hours of Canton. Typically held the month after the end of the Fall Endurance League season, this event is the world’s first 12-hour indoor electric go-kart race, and every year it attracts more teams and drivers. Like their endurance league, everybody in the 12 Hours of Canton drives the same kind of electric go-kart: the OTL Superleggero from Italy. This past year, there were nine teams as small as two drivers and as large as eight drivers that competed for a slice of the $7,000 prize pool, with the winning team taking home a cool $4,000 in cash!

6-Hour Twilight Race

When: After Spring/Summer Endurance League Season

New for 2025, K1 Speed Canton is hosting its very first 6-Hour Twilight Endurance Race! Scheduled for September 12th this year, this event arrives the following month after their Spring/Summer Endurance League season, creating a great transition between the league seasons. While this race is shorter than their flagship 12-Hour Endurance Race, there’s plenty of excitement packed in those six hours. For example, the race is run on Canton’s unique indoor/outdoor track layout, AND halfway through the race, the track direction runs in reverse!

Enjoy a Year’s Worth of Endurance Racing in Canton!

As you can see, Canton’s endurance racing schedule all feeds into each other quite nicely. This allows you to jump from event to event seamlessly throughout the year, while incorporating plenty of variety to keep things exciting:
