Ready to test your racing precision?

Each month, one lucky K1 Speed center will host the Perfect Lap Challenge. The first racer to sign up, match one of the two lap times to the hundredth of a second, and show their proof will be rewarded with $500*!

Winners of the challenge are immortalized in the K1 Speed Hall of Fame for their accomplishment, as seen below.

If the perfect lap isn’t claimed in the allotted time of three hours, the next month’s prize will be $1000, and it’ll only keep growing until someone can finish a truly perfect lap.

The Perfect Lap Challenge is coming… are you ready to race?

No problem! The Perfect Lap Challenge will feature two lap times for you to choose from — one fast lap time and one MUCH slower.

However, just because the time is slower does not mean it will be any easier! You still need to match the time to the hundredth, regardless of which time you go for.

Hall of Fame

Code of Conduct (The Rules):

• Challenges take place once per month.

• Competition only uses our Adult Karts. Minimum height of 4’10” is required to race.

• Target lap times will be set for the challenge. The first person to sign up in person, match one of the two times, and present their timing sheet to the judges will be awarded a check for $500.

• Only races during the timeframe of the event will be counted. Races prior to sign-up or event time will not. Nor will any times count from any race after the challenge event has finished. All races must be purchased during the time of the event – no pre-existing race credits!

•  Participants who sign up may be featured in K1 Speed content via social media, blogs, etc.

• Those who complete the challenge will have their photo displayed online in the Hall of Fame.

• If the challenge is not completed, the prize will roll over to the next location the following month, and the challenge will increase by $500. For instance, if this month’s challenge is not met, the prize increases from $500 to $1,000 next month. If no one claims the challenge after two locations, the prize would increase to $1,500, and so on. Once the challenge is met, the prize resets to $500 for the next month.

• K1 employees (K1 Speed, K1 Circuit, K1 RaceGear, etc.) are ineligible to participate in this competition.
