K1 Speed Burbank is located just off the 5 Freeway and Burbank Blvd. This makes us a walk from nearby places like Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the Gordon R. Howard Museum, and the Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station. We use a special timing system to provide lap-by-lap analysis of times, making improvement on the track easier to achieve! The Burbank center is one of the best go-kart tracks in Southern California and has two challenging tracks for LA motorsport fans to race.
Adult Track
The Adult Track features 12 turns and has two separate straightaways for late-braking overtake opportunities in competitive racing formats like our Challenge GP rental kart leagues.
Junior Track
The Junior Track was created in 2025 as an additional circuit for Burbank racers to enjoy. More technical than the Adult Track, this layout requires a solid understanding of braking zones to put up good lap times.

Electric Racing

Recharge at the Paddock Lounge
The Paddock Lounge is ready to serve up delicious Appetizers, Specials, Pizzas, and more! Guests 21 or older who are done racing can enjoy a selection of Beer & Wine options as well. It’s a great setting to watch the on-track action while recharging with good eats.

Host Unforgettable Group Events at K1 Speed Burbank
LA families and businesses have loved hosting their events at K1 Speed since 2003. The Burbank center has two dedicated event rooms to choose from: the F1 Room (24 max capacity) and the Moto GP Room (20 max capacity). Your event may also choose to hold its gathering in the Paddock Lounge (50 max capacity), which offers a constant view of the racetrack and an open, elevated atmosphere. We went to K1 Speed in Burbank for a birthday party, and overall, everything was great! The food was really good and fresh, and we had a nice experience. Unfortunately, the AC wasn’t working properly, and with temperatures around 100°F, it was extremely hot inside. 🥵 It definitely affected our mood and made it harder to fully enjoy the celebration. Everything else was great, but I really hope they fix the AC because it makes a big difference.

Lines were long for the infinite racing. Juniors get far more races in. Had some bad brakes on carts, one cart center console was completely sideways, and others had unreliable power.Track was super fun though, can carry speed through 90% of the track. Some competitive attendees here too.Staff was helpful and quick to help when things did break or have problems.

Just had my son’s 10th bday party at the Burbank location. Daniel assisted us the day of our party and was a top notch manager. We were constantly being checked up if we needed anything. We booked 3 races total and the race instructors and stewards were very professional and worked well with the kids. They had an amazing time. The food was good and came out on time. We ordered additional food day of and they were quick to get it all ready. Top notch staff. Will highly recommend but will also mention that it was not cheap but imo worth every penny for my son’s big day.

★★★★★ 5/5 — K1 Speed BurbankI had a genuinely amazing & positive experience here and would give K1 Speed Burbank five stars. For anyone considering visiting, I'll include some details I would've found useful beforehand, along with a couple of areas that could potentially be improved.🏎️ Facility & RacingFirst thing you'll notice is that this place is massive. There's a lot more space than I expected, with 2 indoor racing tracks (massive to accomodate around usual 12 players or less if not mistaken), a large seating area, arcade, food/lounge area, merchandise, event rooms, and other attractions throughout the building.Being indoors is also a major advantage in Southern California. If you're looking for something active to do without spending hours outside in the summer heat, this is a great option.💵 Racing Prices & RegistrationAt the time of my visit, the pricing was approximately:• 1 race — $31• 2 races — $57• 3 races — $74, which I think is the best value if you plan on racing multiple times.There's also an $8.50 annual racing license required to race. Registration requires some basic contact/account information and a signed waiver, so first-time visitors should allow a little extra time for that process.The annual license comes with several benefits, including a birthday race during your birthday week, helmet use, a reusable headsock and access to your racing scores/history. One thing worth knowing ahead of time is that the birthday benefit has eligibility requirements, so don't wait too long to use it.🎮 Arcade & EntertainmentThe arcade is a nice addition, especially when you're waiting between races. There's a good variety of machines and prizes, and the games use a digital card/points system rather than traditional paper tickets.The facility also had sports/pop-culture memorabilia displays connected with charitable fundraising, including Make-A-Wish, which was interesting to browse. There was also discounted merchandise near the front when I visited.🌡️ Air Conditioning & ComfortVentilation throughout most of the facility was pretty good. There are AC units and several stationary/movable fans, and some areas were very comfortable.The one improvement I'd recommend is additional cooling or airflow around portions of the arcade. A few spots felt noticeably warmer than the rest of the building.🍕 Food & DrinksThere's an on-site Paddock Lounge/eatery, which is convenient because you don't have to leave the facility between activities. There were snacks, bottled water, soft drinks, energy/electrolyte drinks, cold coffee and other refreshments available during my visit, along with a larger food menu.🅿️ Parking, Seating & EventsParking was free and reasonably plentiful during my visit. Weekends can understandably become much busier, though, so I'd recommend arriving earlier and giving yourself extra time for parking, registration and potential race waits.There's also a surprisingly large amount of seating throughout the facility, which makes it practical for spectators, families and larger groups.They also have dedicated event/party spaces, including the Indy and F1 rooms, making this a good option for birthdays, group outings or company events.Helpful HoursCurrent posted hours:• Monday–Thursday: 11 AM–10 PM• Friday: 11 AM–12 AM• Saturday: 10 AM–12 AM• Sunday: 10 AM–10 PMHours and pricing can change, so I'd still recommend checking before making a longer drive.Overall, K1 Speed Burbank is a legitimately nice entertainment facility. It's spacious, there's much more to do than just racing, prices are reasonable for the experience, parking is convenient, and having everything indoors makes it particularly appealing during hot Southern California weather.My main constructive recommendation would simply be improving airflow in some of the warmer arcade areas. Otherwise, I had a great experience & absolutely would consider coming back bring back friends & families for the occasions. Also the balaclava or cloth headpiece for the racers is 1 size fits most.

The karts on track one are absolutely terrible. Both times i went the cart was broken and sould not have been driving.I went to the manager and told him the first time and he didnt care and than the second time he gave me a race credit.Than Daniel hooked us up on track number 2 and gave us the best carting experience ive had. I go rental carting 2x a week and i cant get over the new carts they have. Its a shame that they dont have them on both tracks
