Looking for a Spring Break Idea? Try Go-Karting

The winter season is winding down, and things are bound to start warming up soon. Students are already becoming anxious, waiting for that marvelous week of the year when they swap the pencils, books, and laptops for some fun in the sun. We know there are many options to choose from to spend a week off from work or school, from soaking up some UV rays at the beach to doing nothing but sitting on the couch and playing Forza Motorsport non-stop. But we’ve got a great idea for your Spring Break – try go-karting at K1 Speed!

Karting has been a popular attraction since its creation in the 1950s, and today the sport is bigger than ever. Thousands of karting tracks can be found across the globe, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better go-karting venue than K1 Speed.

K1 Speed is the premier indoor karting facility in the world, and there’s a good reason for it. Our centers have revitalized the national karting scene by featuring modern decor, museum-worthy racing memorabilia, state-of-the-art timing technology and the latest Italian-made electric karts capable of propelling you to speeds of up to 45mph.

Because our karts emit zero emissions, the air inside our buildings remain clean and smoke-free and do not produce a droning lawnmower engine sound like their gas counterparts, which means you won’t get your usual headache souvenir to take home.

Furthermore, our tracks are professionally designed to offer maximum thrills. And no two K1 Speed circuit layouts are the same, so visiting another K1 Speed will provide its own unique challenge from what you get at your home track!

And because go-karting isn’t a whole-day affair (though it can be, we certainly won’t stop you), you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy whatever activities or lack of activity you have planned for the rest of the day.

Planning on going to Florida for Spring Break? We’ve got three locations in the Sunshine State: Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood, Miami / Medley, and Orlando.

Spending some time in California? There are over 10 locations you can visit – from down south in San Diego up to the Golden State’s capital, Sacramento.

Going to South Padre Island in Texas? Spend an overnight visit in San Antonio and give us a visit! If you’re going to Austin this year, visit us at our location there!

Planning a Spring Break south of the border? There are K1 Speed centers in Mexico too! Visit us in Querétaro, Mexico City, or Monterrey.

Not planning on going to any of those locations? No problem! Check out our locations page, to find the K1 Speed closest to you! We have over 40 locations across the world – so there’s a good chance there’s one conveniently located near you.
